At this time of year, I like to reflect on how the year went, some of the obstacles that were faced; mistakes that were made, and ultimately how do we grow as a company year over year. One of the biggest challenges facing many industries today – dare I say it – is Covid. We have thought that it was passing through and should have been gone by now, and yet we are facing another surge of cases. The protocols that have been in place since this pandemic began will ultimately rule the upcoming year. While it would be great to not have to scrub every surface, tool, machine – every time you use it, I can honestly say that we have done our due diligence.

I am proud to say that the company I work for is an outstanding all in one shop for your moving needs. I know that there are other great moving companies out there, and we absolutely love the challenge and possible partnerships that come out of working within our own network of moving companies. Collaboration is a tool that works well for everyone involved. This year, I found myself sending business to other companies because quite frankly, we couldn’t manage some of the requests. Although we are a one-stop moving shop – we don’t cross borders, so that business goes to other moving companies that we know would do business the exact same way we do. Knowing your limitations and either working through them or passing them to someone who will make you look just as good as they do for the phenomenal job they do.

 Let me take this time to publicly thank our partners, vendors, and clients in the moving industry for all the help, assistance, and jobs that you sent our way. We hope we made you proud. Through some of the mishaps, and there are a few, we have managed to grow as a team and a group of professionals to offer the best moving services we can. I find myself looking around at our team and my co-workers and I am so proud of the work they do. These young men are so honorable, generous, and funny. We have a great group of movers/assemblers who share their knowledge, grow in their experience, and are always willing to go that extra mile.

To my esteemed partner and office manager, she is the very best in how she takes every call and inquiry and makes it personal. Every detail is complete, and in her own quiet way, she ensures that no one steps out of line. It is an honor to work with this great team and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity.
